After the Holiday Rush
So it’s taken me a little while to sit down after the busy holiday season to write a little bit but I’ve finally gotten to it. Things were crazy as usual with trying to get around and visit all of our family. We made it to Kansas City to see my mom’s side of the family and got to meet Carlie, a girl my aunt is fostering. She has an incredible story and is one amazing young woman. Then we went on to IL and got to spend a ton of time with Mary, Luther, John, Sarah and some of the Reichle family. It was great. On Christmas day we traveled to Jeff City and got to see the whole Enloe clan. I ended up staying in Jeff a couple more days than planned while Mark went back to Springfield. I got to go on a spa day with my aunts and Grandma. It was really nice to spend a little extra time with my family.
I got to take lots of pictures throughout Christmas and I was really happy with some of the shots I got. I feel like the more opportunities I get to just take pictures the better I get at it. Mark got me a really nice camera bag and Melissa got me a tri-pod all for Christmas so I’m really excited to get to star using those. I got several complements on my pictures from the botanical gardens and that felt really nice for people to notice my “work.”
My parents came down last weekend and stayed thru New Years. A couple of my Christmas presents were some house projects so my parents came down to help with those. We got my new art work hung, my mom made some curtains for the kitchen and nook, and Mark & my dad got our area rug finished.
For New Years we had several people over to hang out and it was a lot of fun. We even popped a little bubbly at the stroke of twelve.
Now it’s back to the grind of things back at work. Welcome to 2008!

Yea! You posted! Whoo-hoo. Thats great. I’m so proud of you. You made my Monday. And now I’ll be happy Tuesday. But it will end unless you continue to post!!!!!
