Life is Good

Some how this always gets away from me and I some how can’t ever find time to sit down and just write. When I do find the time I usually see that I have a lot to talk about.

Update on my job. As of right now I’m going to be staying in my current job. So that is good news. It’s always difficult starting something new especially with something I don’t have much experience in.

Last weekend my parents called and asked if we wanted to drive up to St. Louis on Friday night and meet them and my nephew Easton. He was with them for the weekend and they decided they would do something a little different. So Saturday we went and spent the day at the Science Center and then went to eat at Fitz’s. Fitz’s is famous for the root beer and their root beer floats. They were pretty good if I do say-so myself. It was really nice just getting to spend some time with Easton and get some fun pictures. Easton’s a pretty good sport about letting me take pictures of him and he’s very photogenic.

Yesterday was Valentines Day; I got my present from Mark on Wednesday. He was in town and came over to have lunch with me and broad me a couple calla lilies. They were beautiful. This weekend we are going to go spend a night in Branson using some of our hotel points. I’m pretty excited to just get away. We’re staying on The Landing and there’s quite a bit of stuff to do.
