Finally some time..
I’ve wanted to sit down and write for the last week I just haven’t found the time. There’s been quite a bit to tell. Between several Bachlorette Party’s, Wedding Showers, yard work, hanging out with friends, church stuff, our weekends have been packed!
I wish I could just sit down every day and write a quick little post and add a couple pictures and be done with it but it doesn’t quite seem to work for me.
Last weekend I had a really eventful weekend with some college girl friends. My good friend Alison is getting married in June so we had a big weekend for her. Saturday we were treated to an afternoon at the Spa thanks to Toni! Then we went to dinner and out to Ernie Biggs, a Chicago Style dueling piano bar. We had a great time and it felt like we were back at college. Sunday we had a shower for her and she got some really good stuff. We got to meet her fiancés mom and sister. Alison’s getting ready to move back to Kansas City next week so one by one all the girls are moving away. It’s amazing how fast time fly’s. It just feels like yesterday when we were all living together our sophomore year of college. I’m so happy for Alison and Reid is such a great guy, I wish I would’ve gotten to know him more when I was in college. All I know is that Reid treats Alison with great love and respect and that’s what Al deserves! I couldn’t be happier for her.
Saturday we also purchased Mario Kart for the Wii. Mark was pretty excited and we spent Saturday evening playing with Terra & AJ. I was super excited because for once there was a video game that I was better than Mark at. He couldn’t figure out how I was so good. Playing Mario Kart brings back a lot of child hood memories for Mark.
Last weekend we had a cram packed weekend with Church stuff. Our church is getting ready to build. We are maxed out of space with classrooms. Currently our young couple’s class is meeting in the hall way of the offices. Sunday was the kick off to our capital campaign. We had a big service and had a ton of events after church. It was a beautiful day and it looked like people had a lot of fun. Mark was involved in a tug of war like I’ve never seen it was a close one!

Ok, Kailey, it has been another month and no new posts!!
